Our company was founded in 2010 by an experienced team committed to doing what it takes to exceed your expectations with your finished product. Our founding members and management staff originate from various professional disciplines and provide a wide range of industry expertise. We have valuable experience in the packaging industry with direct focus on areas of design, manufacturing, customer service, warehousing, distribution and logistics. At Acuity Packaging and Logistics, we are also proud to serve countless satisfied customers as a woman-owned company.

Our recipe for success has always been centered around getting to know our customers first. By gaining a thorough understanding of the projected goals, identifying the most efficient path to meet the objective and executing the plan to achieve those goals, we create a partnership designed with complete customer satisfaction in mind.

Our Team

Kim Woolery
President

Kim brings over 20 years of corporate experience with bottom-line accountability plus more than 7 years of packaging-specific experience to Acuity. Kim was born in Lawrence, Kansas and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kim has a passion for helping customers successfully achieve their goals by understanding their needs and driving her team to be the best. To her, the Acuity team is like a family, and working with people who truly care about each other makes work genuinely enjoyable.

Kim’s number one priority is her two children. In her free time, she likes to run, play softball and garden.

Steve James
Vice President of Sales

Steve has worked in the packaging industry for 27 years. He has extensive experience as an entry-level thermoforming set-up mechanic, as a machine operator, in supervision, as a business unit manager and in sales. Steve was born into a farming family and grew up on a family dairy farm near Mooreland, Indiana. He currently resides in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Steve’s favorite aspects of his job are the opportunity to develop customer relationships, see different types of manufacturing processes across a wide range of industries, assist customers with the most effective solution to a challenge, see a project through to completion and understand what it takes to exceed each customer’s expectations.

In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, fishing and doing just about anything outdoors.

Tim Gruben
Thermoforming Manager

Tim brings over 32 years of experience to Acuity and is originally from Leland, Illinois. Tim greatly enjoys working with new tooling, and he appreciates the challenge of setting up and running new jobs.

In his spare time, Tim loves going to flea markets and antique stores on the hunt for old tools. He also enjoys working on old tractors.
